Largest local Democratic party entity in the country stands with Ryu

Los Angeles, CA – The delegates of the Los Angeles County Democratic Party (LACDP) recently voted to endorse David Ryu for L.A. City Council, District 4. LACDP is the largest local Democratic Party entity in the United States, representing over 2.4 million registered Democrats and a population larger than 42 other states in the 88 cities and the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.

“I am excited that our campaign is attracting new supporters in our fight to put neighborhood voices first at City Hall. With this endorsement, I know my fellow Democrats are just as committed as I am to standing up for our neighborhoods, ” said David Ryu, candidate for L.A. City Council, District 4.

Eric C. Bauman, Chair, Los Angeles County Democratic Party and Vice Chair, California Democratic Party released the following statement after the endorsement vote:

“David Ryu is a lifelong Democrat who shares our values and knows how to get things done. He is just the type of independent leader we need on the City Council.
